Heavy Vibration.........

I have a 07 CM with Cooper Zeon 275/55/R20's last few times going down the interstate I have been getting a heavy vibration at speeds above 60. Anyone else had this problem, I did have a balance and rotation done about 2000 miles ago. Any input would be appriciated, Thanks.....

weclome to large rims/tires. theres a bunch of talk about hub centric vs lug centric hopefully someone here can shed some light on it.

I got some big O 35's and there is no vibratin at all and smooth as stock except a little more road feedback due to the larger size tires. Also the rims I have are hub centric which I find toyota's tend to like but if the wheels are not made properly and the hub bore if off this will throw off the balance pretty bad too. I have heard someone else here with aftermarket wheels and he end up finding that they were his problem after many trips to the tire shop and toyota trying different tires and balancing. I say if you payed for new wheels and tires the shop should either balance you up right or get you new tires or wheels till your happy with no vibrations. Wheels and tires are a big investment and I would not want to ride around with any vibration. A quick test to make sure its not some thing else on the truck causing it, is slap your stock wheels on and take her for a spin and see if vibration goes away.
