Is there any way to do something so when you turn the truck on the VSC is off already? I hate every time having to get in and push that button 3 times is so annoying!!

I am getting tired of that too. It shouldn't be that tough to set up a little microcontroller to sense when the truck starts up and then apply the switch press automatically.

That would be awesome should be the other away around anyways should be off than if you wanted vsc push the damn button but no toyota always has to be difficult!!

I do have a idea for this just have not found enough time to check out the wiring for the back of the switch yet. Also I seldom turn off the VSC in my truck, so to me this is not one of the things high on my priority list to do next.
I also don't see a high demand for this personally but I could be wrong.

you might wanna look into the 350Z/ G35 Relm cause I had installed a box that did just that for those cars. I still have an extra box from a customer that ordered one to many and gave me the extra. I run the same unit on my G35 works out pretty well. There VDC was the same type set up. One of these days Ill get around to trying it out!

Okay for thoose of us that have a 07 I got around to test a few things out today since I was off and it was nice outside. My idea works as I thought it would. Just got to ground a wire for 4-5 seconds on the back of the switch with a module you can get for around $20.00 (I happen to have a few modules laying around for other projects). Well now my VSC button works opposite of stock, When you start the truck it bypass it automaticly and then if you want you can push the button to turn on the safety features again or bypass then as normal. Well I will post up more information once I get around to doing a little more real work testing this weekend. I want to make sure there are no odd side effects.
I am still debating on if I want to go through the trouble of writing anything up on this cause in my head cause I still don't think to many people want this option but I could be wrong. Guess If there is enough people that may want this I start a new post and add a few pictures and what not.
Is there a noticeable difference in power/torque with the VSC turned off? How exactly is this done again? Had the truck for almost a year but never deactivated the darn thing.
I am ALL for this mod. I also have an 08 - even if it just got me to VSC/ATRAC off and LSD on starting out (basically what you get after the first three seconds), that would be cool!

Okay guys I start a new thread later tonight once I get a few pics off the camera, as for if this will work with the 08 not sure how you guys VSC button works compared to 07 but on the 07 we just push the VSC button for 1 second and it turns it half off and if you hold it for 4 seconds it turns everything else off.
