Default Black Widow TRD Sway Bar

Just Installed My Toyota TRD Sway Bar. But before it went on I had to sand and paint it, don't want all that red under the rear end. Left the center TRD emblem outlined in red and now she resembles the rear end of a Black Widow

For all of you who are on the fence about this upgrade, I am sorry I didn't do it sooner . Not recommended for off road. It has this heavy CM Cornering faster and better without excessive body roll or pitch. I feel much more confident going into sharp turns than ever before.

I drive the toll road 1 from TJ to Ensenada at least 15 times a year, this ocean side highway is a 100km stretch thats extremely well maintained. Its a high speed autobahn that twist and bends, climbs and dives, hugs cliff and has breath taking views of ocean and land. I want to go try it now.

Take care

Not into red here either, but that's TRD's Signature.
I think they should have offered it in both Red and Black.

Looks Great Same thing I'd do if I wasn't so into offroading.

I like the TRD red, but the way you masked off the TRD label looks nice too.

I used RUST-OLEUM Professional, High Performance Enamel and cloth p320 sandpaper to remove the glossy finish off the TRD Sway Bar this aids the Enamel grip better. The center label was masked off with tape.
Glad you guys like it. Hopefully will see more Black Widow TRD Sway Bar Mods. In the future.

Take Good Care

TRD sway bar installed today:
The 40 minute drive I had today was odd...the "skip" that was there during sharp curves is just gone now, and the "bed bounce" that was so awful seems to be much less than pre sway bar...especially on concrete, it is still there, just not as severe. Overall it just give me the feeling of a less "top heavy" vehicle.
I will probably take it off, powder coat it and reinstall it sometime this summer...the red hour glass is temporary as well...as it was hand painted and is very uneven, but looks ok from a distance for now

Nice job. Sounds like you like it a lot. Sure does make a difference in the way these trucks handle. Congratulations on the MOD.

Would someone mind posting photos of the mounting points on the frame? If I do the sway bar, I may have to relocate the fill valves for the bags. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks!
