I'm looking into getting the visors for my 08 Crewmax SR5. Should I get the inchannel design which means the adhere to the inside of the window channel or the typical ones installed on the outside of the vehicle?
Your comments and/2cent are appreciated.

I got the "in channel" for my Tundra. I'll never use anything else again. They are so much lower profile, so they don't stick out much from the vehicle. They look so much better. I have the glue on ones on my Camry. One is broken and won't come off. I'm gonna have to use a hair dryer to get them off. When I replace them, it will be with "in channel".

I have the Dark Smoke EGR In channel.... There is still a small amt of double stick tape to keep it int the channel. Also, You have to bend the visor with confidence until it slips into the frame of the window, then it flexes into shape. I have all mine installed in about 15 minutes. I've have the exterior taped kind and the only thing that I didn't like about them was the tape cam loose after 6 years in one spot and cause a lot of turbulence (wind noise).
don't the in channel ones screw up the window regulators? that is what I have heard...any one have any input on this?
No they do not. I have had mine since May '07 and the windows work fine.

In Channel Weathertech - love em. You may hear some noise at first, but not once it settled in. I've had no problems and have had them for about a year. I clean the surface that is next to the glass when I wash the truck.
