TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "A sure head turner...", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Just wanted to shoot you a couple pictures of my newest addition to the Tundra... This has surely gotten me a bunch of looks and little kids (and some adults) clap in excitement!
The fog lights were purchased on ebay for around $50, the Autobot was $6 and the LEDs cost me $4. I have a switch that allows me to turn the LEDs off, in case I enter a state that does not approve of the lights. They are wired to come on when the truck is running so you don't have to remember to turn them off.
I was stopped in Kill Devil Hills, NC by a local officer who told me that they were illegal. He was partially correct but before I put them on I researched the law and found that as long as they dont resemble law enforcement (flash) then they are good to go. So check before you install and make sure they are grounded so they don't accidentially flash. (He did, by the way, say that it was really cool.)
Looks good and I like it! Pardon me to out topic, your fog light are? Are they brighter than stock? Do they have a reflector? Bling lights if I am not mistaken?
The Autobot badge is right at around 3" x 3". The LEDs are not a kit, I just bought them at the electronics store and wired them in.
The Fog Lights are the "Bling Lights" that you find when you do a Tundra Fog Light search on ebay. I don't know if there are as bright as the factory ones I have never compared them to a factory set up... Dont know if they have a reflector... The "halo rings" actually have several colors that you can choose, so if you wanted a decepticon you could have the rings and LEDs red.

These are bright and have glass lenses. Very happy with mine.
Her name is Megan Fox, and I agree, she is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup, hot as hot can get...and as cool as the AutoBot is on the front, I'd sure rather "bolt" Ms. Fox against my grill as many times as possible, although my wife may indeed get a little pissed.
Nice work zukiman

I have the same Fog lights.. I disconnected the harness that powers the colored LED part of the lens though.. At first I thought they might be cool but when you turn them on they have to cycle through every avail color before they'll stay on the one you want. Also Red and Blue will get you pulled over in a hurry if the law catches ya..
They are very bright fogs though and work way better than the factory ones.
