Default gum on cloth seat

so one of my buddies (no idea who, had 6 kids in and out of shotgun the other day all day) dropped some gum on the seat. Just noticed it. Its worked in there pretty well and I have no idea how to get it out. Any ideas?

Try using some ice to freeze it, then scrape it off.

i know peanut butter gets gum out of human hair dissolves it some and makes it so its not sticky... but i wouldn't want to rub peanut butter over my seats.

If the ice doesn't work(it should)

Butane lighter refill(sold at Walmart)
Not for folks with low levels of coordination,no sparks or flames in the immediate area etc.

Hold the tip securely with a pair of pliers, position tip over area, get as close to the surface as possibly and push straight down on the cylinder.Couple of practice runs will help.

It will get the gum out and not stain the fabric like the above mentioned oil based suggestions

I know that WD-40 gets gum out pretty good but I don't know what it will do to the cloth so try at your own risk. That sucks, good luck.

Freeze the bubble gum either with ice cubes or by using compressed air that is held upside down . After that, you can easily chip it off with the blunt side of a knife.
