2007 Dc Rear Bumper Starting To Rust

I have a 2007 DC, 5.7 Yesterday, as i was washing the truck, I noticed a small amount of discoloration and RUST on the edges of the rear bumper, where it wraps around the bedsides. I only have 28,000 miles on the truck. Check your bumpers and let me Know if anyone else finds this problem. I will go to the dealership on 10 nov 2008 to see how they plan to take care of this. I will let everyone know what they say.

I think you will find this to be common problem for a lot of 2007 owners.
Cleaned mine then sprayed with rust check then cleaned really will again polished and seems to prevent the problem from re occurring.
Check back side I suspect you will find it to be even worst.

Note: take a look add your center wheel hub caps you may find they are also discolouring. Had mine replaced under warranty

Yeah, my '07 had/has this too. I sprayed rust protection on the backside of the bumper and that seemed to really help. I'll see how it is this winter, but my dealer already told me that they'll replace it if it becomes a problem again.
