Re: Want to Upgrate Tires....need to see pics of yours
Some really great posts and pictures. Really torn on whether I should get new rims, or get some custom ones. Can anybody recommend some places where I can price them out.
Also, what are the things to look out for when leveling and choosing a tire.

E rated tires by BFG don't seem too rough to me. I'm not sure if they ride different from the Michelins. But if you're doing heavy hauling, towing, etc., you'll need to ditch the p tires. Also for any rocky, off road stuff, you'll want the stiffer sidewalls.

I kept to the original size - 275-65-18. I only have about 100 miles on them so far, but think they are going to work out well for me. They do ride a little stiffer than the original Ragged trails, which I expected, but hardly noticeable. They are not noisy tires, but if you listen real close, you can hear them (unless you have the radio on). I came off my mountain this morning in a real hurry. It's been raining all night and morning and there are a ton of large puddles on the twisty road. Truck handled like a champ and I drove like it was a dry summer day. Really can't comment on MPGs, but I would suspect I'll be loseing a few tenths. So far I like them. I really won't be able to tell much until I hit some muddy areas or until we start getting snow. I DO know that they are GREAT in the rain.
