Thanks and right back at you with the compliment. Your setup is very tough looking and well proportioned.
How did your ARB bumper connect to the frame? Did it use the same 4 bolts on each side as the stock bumper like my expedition one does, or did they supply additional brackets of some sort?
While e1 is supposed to supply additional brackets to beef things up, i'm curious what ARB did and how rugged it's been when winching?

Two mounting brackets(which does not affect the operation of the airbags) to the chassis, using the existing flange nuts.
Funny thing is, I pulled out a stuck 30 ft. U-haul with my truck because I was in to much of a hurry to set up the pull using the winch. Other than that story, it has been dormant. Truck weighs 7000lbs. now, so I purchased a snatch block to increase my pull weight from 9500 to 18000 lbs.

That's good to hear, this is exactly how the expedition one is connected to the frame. I was a little Leary because the flange nuts are smaller than what I experienced with other winch bumper mounts.
I got e1 to thrown in a pulley block to double my winch pull to 18000 lbs., just like you have. If you connect the winch line through the pulley and back to your OEM tow hook, the load should evenly divide between the bumper and frame, while still doubling your pull power.
When I had my ARB bumper on my 98 Land cruiser I used to max out the 9000lbs. winch all the time when high centered and mired in mud. That bumper always held up and was strong as an OX. I hope this expedition one bumper proves just as tough.

WOW!! its like your driving my truck! thats the same thing i would like to do except for all that badass storm chasing equipment. I prefer to curl up in in the fetal position in an underground bunker during tornadoes and the like.

Nice truck it would be perfect for storm chasing but you would soon need a new wind shield for that ! I bet it would be fun to do some off roading in that thing
very cool truck...looks like the new mars rover...
Can you tell me some more about your research into the "Deaver 11 pack rear leafs " you list as a future refinement.
I have always thought it would be better to beef up the rear springs, instead of airbags, to increase the weight carrying capacity of these trucks.
Many Thanks
