Thumbs up Re: Truck Done, New Pics

that's one effin bad@$$ rig u got. love the bumpers, and that storm chasing equip. in the bed reminds me of the trucks here in hawaii, because hunters have racks(home made bed kennels for their dogs) that look similar to the equip you have in the bed.

Nice truck!!!

I hope you have a business so you can use it all as a tax deduction. That looks like some expensive equipment!!

Your truck would fit right in around here (in Oklahoma) running with the storm chasing packs. They have contractors that help out the media stations too. Every now and then we have a tornado too.

Can you tell me some more about your research into the "Deaver 11 pack rear leafs " you list as a future refinement.
I have always thought it would be better to beef up the rear springs, instead of airbags, to increase the weight carrying capacity of these trucks.
Many Thanks

I like the mars rover comparison

I've actually had the Deavers in my garage for a few months now, but have been hesitant to install them. From what I understand they will stiffen the ride but lower the payload capacity. The load carrying defecit is apprently due to the lack of an overload spring, however they are stiffer / more response (more axle flex) in general.

I'm holding off because I really like where my truck sits and rides as it is now.

I would think others on here could weigh in with better info for what you are looking for, i'm a real novice with this stuff.

Not really my cup of tea, but we obviously use our Trucks for different things. That is one tough looking pick up with some really sweet mods. Nice job......
