i have a 08 tundra 5.7 with the 6 speed transmission..sometimes at low speeds the transmission slips and jerks...it just doesnt seem right..at high speeds no problem...only seems to happen in 1st 2nd or 3rd gears..i took it to the dealer and when they drove it and they even rode with me it didnt do it then..they said it is just the electronic transmission..if there was a problem i would get a check engine light.anyone know of any problems out there with this
I think it is just the nature of this transmission. I have an 07 and it often slips and jerks. After reading all the transmission threads I've decided this is how it's supposed to be.
MIne slips and feels like it is in neutral when turning right before it is fully warmed up. Turn right, give it a little gas and nothing happens. Anyone else with this problem?
I totally agree. When I first crank the truck and take off its OK. As soon as I get to the first stop sign by my house and only slow down and then take off again, it feels as if it is slippin',
