Default Drivers seat knocking

I keep having this problem with my '07 Tundra Crew Max, When I stop the seat knocks, then does the same when I take off. Seems to be coming from wher the seat and backrest connect. Anyone else having this problem? Dealer said Toyota is aware of this problem and there is nothing to fix at this time. I have checked other Tundras and don't find this problem. How can I get them to replace my seat?

My 2007 crewmax does it too, but I don't notice it all of the time.

being from L.A. I notice it quite a bit in all the stop-n-go traffic. It gets annoying.

My seat seems to be fine, but the headrest has some play in it and moves back and forth.

seat track replacement is expensive and expensive repairs are difficult to get done under warranty when the complaint is simply a noise. noises can get annoying so try contacting toyota headquarters

I had the same problem in another Toyota (Camry) I had with power seats - you could feel the seat rock back and forth a small bit when you launched and stopped. Toyota replaced it under warranty, but would only do it once. It cost them about $1500. I'm not sure what they did, but it didn't get much better.

Mine did it at about 10,000 miles.............. 4 dealer trips and a Service rep checking it out and they replaces the seat.

I had something similar with my 2002 non powered seat. Only certain stops I would feel a thump. Never did find where it came from. I tightened everything I could find nothing was loose.... I since traded that truck in.

Has anyone been able to fix this on their own? My warranty has expired and this is driving me nuts. I have split bench seats and this is the drivers seat. The seat track nuts are tight and this seams to be comming from the back rest.
