Default Crew max with procomp...snow plowing? is it possible?

so, i am wondering if it's possible to use a snow plow with procomp 6" lift. i like the idea of backdragging snow plows which hook up to your hitch, but how about front? would the truck be too high, or are there other issues?

The 6" lift sounds a bit high to me for pushing snow. The back dragging types of plows should be OK, but in either case a call to your local plow retailer should be able to answer your questions. Just don't let them tell you you can't move snow without a 3/4 ton American made pickup.

I think it would be fine... and would depend on the type of plow you are using. My fisher had a chain that attached the plow to hydraulics for up/down motion. If i wanted, I could just change the link location on the chain to allow for 6 inches of extra truck height. With my new boss plow, the up/down motion is all hydraulic, no chain.. So the dealer would have to find out what the max amount of movement would be in that system. Would suck for you to drop the plow all the way down, and find out its still an inch off the ground! Really though, i'm sure there is a setup that will work well...
