Wow, what's really funny is that's what my dealer wants (price wise) to replace a SINGLE tail light (my buddy busted the lens off in a loading mishap).
Don't look bad at all! I guess the turn is still bulb though...

Please post up some photos when you get them installed - and, if possible, some before/after night shots so we can see how bright they are (can you set the aperture and shutter speed on your camera?).
Yes sir I do! You could say I am an LED freak. If it can be replaced by LED and look right I've done it. I have been waiting patiently for tail lights, and these look good. I like the stock look so... we'll see how they are.

Only the tail / stop portion appears to be LED. The others (signal, backup) are incandescent bulbs as the stock tail uses. I guess this is the norm....just about every LED tail we have seen does this the same way.
I think that I might have to do some research tommorow on these Hella Upgrades. They use fiber optics as the running lights and add the blinkers into LED. We'll see what shows up first. I am really liking the look of the hella's better and I think the quality will be better. Might have some other LED stuff up for sale soon
If I can find the Hella's soon I am going to pick them up just for the quality.

yea its like that 99.5% of the time. Even my 2004 BMW 745Li stock taillights are LED for brake/running and the blinker/reverse is incandescent. Same story when I had a 2006 Range Rover. On cars I see they are doing LED blinkers now though (2008 BMW 645 and late model M3)
I dont think the HELLA lights will be that expensive. I remember buying a set of CELIS LED tailights for my E39 BMW to do the front/rear lighting facelift. It was $400 for the set of tailights, so Im thinking about $500-600 for the Tundra HELLA tailights with the LED 3rd brake light
