Default What the %#@% Lights

I went to drive my 08 Tundra this morning and had a little surprise. I should note that the temperature is -7. The 4HI and 4LO are blinking continously, the abs light is solid and the brake light is solid and the engine light is solid. I NEED HELP. Click the link to see a video. The video was shot with a cell phone so it is poor quality. YouTube - 2008 Toyota Tundra Light Issue

Does it keep doing it after you shut off and then try again?

Yes. I have ran the truck 3 times today and get the same thing. I have to drive it tomorrow and don't know what to do.

Alright crew.... I disconnected the battery for about 5 minutes and then started the truck up again. All of the problem lights are GONE. I am going to go out and take her for a spin. Hopefully this was just a fluke problem and it wont happen again. I'll post again in a few days to let you all know what happens. Thanks for your prompt posts.... I'll sleep better tonight.

NOt that it helps you, but I went through a car wash today, and had all the same lights come on. I turned it off and on, and they went away, but this seems like a fluke issue. There must be some sensor somewhere that is getting tripped up too easily.. be it water, cold weather, etc.. Our temp drops down to neg 15 over the winter too, so crossing my fingers that it doesn't cause any issues.

Yes.. mine also cleared itself after about a mile of driving. Just turned truck off and on again -- had the same situation as the OP two days back but nothing abnormal since.

Sanosuke!

Well I have an update and believe it or not its worse. I had all of the same lights come on today with addition of the speedometer does not work. I have an appointment Wednesday with the Toyota Dealership. I received a message from a youtube user today asking if I have a leveling kit. He said that if I do then that could be causing the problem. Double the What the %#@#. For those of you that have had similar problems, do you have leveling kits on your truck? I have had one since February. It makes me nervous taking my truck to Toyota if the leveling kit is causing the problem.
