A woman ran thru a red light at about 40mph and hit me in the front right tire. The tundra will be layed up getting some body work done. The Honda Element was destroyed. Go check my album for photos.

Even with my stock Michelin LTX A/S my truck has handled the snow very well.Drove home from a party last night through 3" of fresh snow on top of the compact snow/ice that we already had with not a slip or slide.Up and down a couple good hills too.

I just put on a set of Nokian tires and all I can say is WOW!!! I have driven down roads with a foot of snow on them in two wheel drive and not an ounce of weight in the bed. The Tundra is fantastic in the snow and with the tires it feels almost unstopable.
Just went out an measured the current snowfall at my house...we are up to 8-1/2".
Tomorrow morning's commute ought to be fun, I love driving in the snow and ice, just hate how others drive...
STAY OUT OF THE LEFT LANE, SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT!!!

I love the snow, I go on a 'sunday' drive through the countryside if it snows during the day. Commuting to work in Philly when it snows, sleets or anything happens sucks so bad. Nothing like getting on the main road to find that everyone else is doing 30 in both lanes of Rt 30. One of these days it will take me hours to get to work and I will be pissed, I have been fortenate so that its been clear farther east when I leave in the morning.
Just pulled my buddy's Diesel Ford Excursion out of a huge ditch on the edge of his pond. I knew he was in deep trouble when he called me with the 'yota.
He finally bowed down to me and said I had one hell of a truck. I'll never let him live this one down! I don't care what anyone says, the Tundra is the best truck on the road!

Yesterday we drove from Joliet to Green Bay to visit some friends. Below zero temps all the way with white out conditions from the 50 mph gusts. I lost count how many accidents (including a 20 car pile up) we saw.
This truck is un-friggin believable in snow and ice. I have been driving 4x4s for 20 years and have never been more impressed. On the way home last night going through Milwaukee we hit an area about a quarter mile long of solid black ice. there was at least 5 cars that were already wiped out. I was doing around 50 mph and felt that sickening feeling when the back end starts letting go. The VSC kicked on and self corrected the truck immediatly.
It really was an amazing experience. It's almost like having auto pilot!!
Best truck I have ever owned hands down!!

Here's a couple pics of "Fang" and me pulling around a 5'x12' pallet trying
to clear the 12" of snow off work's parking lots and drive this morning.
Worked pretty well.

Looks like you need more weight on the skid. If i lived in the area i'd have volunteered to sit on it while you drove around!
We did have a couple guys on it, one kept flying off when I rounded the corners...LOL.
Those pics were from after it bogged down, we cleared the snow, and placed the pallet back on top of the drift we created to make another run. It dug in real good, you should have saw the snow fly from all 4 wheels...should have videoed it.

Well I have to give mxsjw a 9.75 for creativity, but you really need something like this to get rid of snow:

Adding a couple pics of him goin' to town...and what you see here is about 25% of what we have to have cleared.
