I was at the mall for three hours last night and when i woke up today i went out to my truck and found that it had been keyed on both sides. I guess people dont like the size of the tundra even though i parked perfectly in the spot not on the white lines like 90% of the cars there. I already talked to my body shop and they said they have to repaint the whole truck and that it wont go against my insurance cause its vandalism. I bet the person who did this was jealous cause i got a reclining back seat and 381hp!
Malls have security cameras in the parking lots..don't they? Would that help?

That's really unfortunate. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Hopefully you will end up with better paint than toyota supplied in the original factory finish. There is always a silver lining.

Man, that is really rotten. I would start off by trying to get the mall security to look into it. Good luck there because getting them to do anything without a court order or an active police investigation is going to be next to impossible. I would suggest that you contact the police and file a report and then see if they will help you (yeah, right), but al least you will have it documented.
Maybe you get lucky and the mall security will help you but my gut reaction is that you are going to have to hire an attorney to get any rhythm. If you do find out who did it, I think it would be interesting to see if the perpetrators have any union ties or if they are just some punk-a$$ cowardly vandals.

It was at the Tyler Mall in riverside. I called the mall security this morning and the guy seemed like he was to into his donut or something. He said they have cameras looking right where i parked because i parked right by the mall entrance.Im not counting on it. I talked to my insurance guy and its considered vandalism so it wont go on my record. Its all the way down to the primer.
Yep, jealousy bites the big one. I'll bet the coward would never state his problem with your truck to your face though . Lik eseveral others have stated, I would LOVE to catch some dirtbag in the act. It would NOT be pretty.
