Did not see a mention of this in the manual, or in the forum.
When using the ASL ON for the radio, does anyone see any indication on the radio display (other than "ON" in the menu) that asl is on? Such as a moving bar indicating it is raising or lowering volume? Anything?
Thanks. I dont think mine works and I have no indication it is on other than it saying on within the menu. I would think ASL would be lit up on the display, a bar, something to tell you, right?
Type one radio. One disc, 2007.

Nothing moving....only the ON indication and a few level bars. I love mine. I liked the one on my Tahoe too !

I notice that the bars move or it gets more bars when I roll down the window on the freeway. As far as an indicator the background around "ASL" is highlighted when on and dark when off.

I have no indicators and I have the 6 disc unit. If you notice the guys who have indicators also have limited trucks which I assume have the high end radios. With my ASL set to mid or high I sometimes but not always notice the radio get quieter when I come to a stop.
