Great informative thread. I have been contemplating going over to the PowerStick configuration for some time now. I enjoy the sound of my current set-up, but I salivate every time I come across a sound clip of these things. I know that the sound clips don't do them justice and yet they still entice a "holy crap!" response out of me. I have GOT to save me some dough and get some of these bad boys!!!
Do you guys know if the 26' powerstick will fit on an RCSB with an h pipe somewhere along the line? And does anyone know a good piping size? Does the piping size matter after the muffler?
Apparently a 40" will fit, so I would imagine there is enough room for the 26" with H-pipe. Recommended piping size is 2.5" or 2.25" in a dual application.
Anyone questioning the length, simply crawl under your truck with a tape measure.
On the left bank where the radius turns straight and parallels the right bank.Factor 10-12" for a(proper)H-pipe,then from there you can run all the muffler length you want.
Guess the best you can and measure to the rear axle.
There is well over 50" of muffler that can be installed under a DC Tundra.I never measured my RCSB for long chambers because LT headers were in the plans for it.But Im confident 40"s will fit under a RCSB.
First one to 40" is gonna be the $**t !!
I wont be back in the States till after Feb so ya'll got plenty of time to put a woopin on my 26" sticks before I can get to mine in early spring.
It wont count without a posted proof vid.
So all the crack smokin dreamers in monkey suits dont be trying to sucker-jive the peep's.

I was just on Powerstick's website and I don't see an option for ordering the H-pipes. Where are yall getting these from/recommending (I think I saw Flow(blow)master)?

Any reputable custom exhaust shop should be able to fabricate an h-pipe for you.

I spoke with a TS member that ordered the pipes (right before the mufflers and right after the cats which included the H pipe) directly from Flowmaster a few weeks ago. They sold him just that part of their system. I unfortunately had purchased their cat back system several months ago and didn't like it but kept those pipes and just added two 2.25" x 26" powersticks.
That method leaves your OE exhaust in-tact if you ever want/need to go back to it. Call flowmaster and ask them just for those pipes which include the H pipe. It's a nice piece, was designed for the 5.7 Tundra and makes the install much much easier.

Yep, that was me. its alot less hastle to do that instead of risking your local exhaust shop screwing up your stock pipes.
That was just for the H-pipe? Anyone know how much I can expect to pay an exhaust shop to make an H-pipe?
i bought the inlet pipe section containing the h from flowmaster. it is on the flowmaster tundras exhaust system. i didnt want the muffler or the pipes that go over the axle. its a bolt-on specifically made for the tundra. you can buy a universal h or x pipe from jegs for cheap and let the exhaust shop put in on.
