Default N-fab vs. Go Rhino Dominator 2

Does anyone know the differences between the N-Fab cab length nerf bars and the Go Rhino Dominator 2 nerf bars? The Dominators are about $100 cheaper and I heard they don't have as many rusting problems?

N-Fabs have more rusting problems, but you can get them ALL black. Go Rhinos will have a silver step which somewhat interrupts the smooth appearance. JMO of course.

N-Fab sold Go Rhino the patent rights to build the N-Fab steps and put the Dominator name on them.

N-Fab had a batch of rust problems, they've fixed it and will readily take care of their customers if problems arise (search NYPDBlue's posts). I've got the N-Fabs (black textured powdercoat) and have not had any rusting.

You may want to check, but I believe the Dominators are painted, thus why they're cheaper.

It was more than a batch...I remember back in 2005/2006 reading about similar issues with N-Fab steps for Nissan Titans.

That being said, I think they are still the best bar of their type in appearance and design - coating just seems to be a weak spot for whatever reason. A problem easily recitified!

RBP - rolling big power - also makes a step exactly like these designs. Ive been looking at them for a while and Ill probably go with RBP.

RBP Also bought the right’s to make the N-FAB design. Tom at N-FAB has the patent on the design for this step and if you buy this design a ck goes to NFAB for it. If you want to get the best service you should by them direct from N-FAB

Both NFab and GoRhino offer carbon steel (or "mild steel") or stainless steel. If you get carbon steel and chip the powdercoating, they WILL begin to rust. Stainless steel costs more but is rust resistant.

Don't know about RBP, their site does not indicate which kind of steel they are using.

to the OP I just posted pics of my NFAB Bars I put on in October in my album. Maybe it'll give you an idea of what they look like on a Tundra (in my case an RCSB).
