Default Weekend Mods: Billets, Color Matched Parts, Eyelids, & K&N Intake Installed

Made some good progress this weekend with some mods..Put on my Carriage Works billet grills(not bolt over), Color matched front valance and mirror caps, eyelids, & K&N 77 series intake.

Oh yeah..Did the calipers last weekend, but never got a good pic of it.

The K&N is awesome! Brings the engine to life for sure! I did do exhaust. Went with a Flowmaster Super 40 dual in, dual out. Forgot to take pics of the tips. Did something a little different than the norm.

The grille and intake look great, the eyelids are a little silly considering the housings are already pretty short. Reminds me of a 96-00 Civic. Aside from that, looking clean!

For some reason, I thought you were colormatching the entire front end.

can you tell me a little more about the eyelid (is it a stick-on) and lights? what exactly did you do to the lights?

also, the k&n, what did that set you back and from where? it doesn't look like you had to make any mods/cut the engine cover (is that correct) like you do with the TRD system?

as far as the k&n, what goes against the fender? the stock system has a piece that extends through the hole. just curious how the k/n fits against it or is it just left open?

everything looks nice btw.

I do plan to do the grill surround. Waiting on Toyota to get off their arse and start selling the surrounds again.

Eyelids are high quality fiberglass and stick on. You can get them off a dude on ebay..He has been doing fiberglass for 25 years, and makes nothing but top notch eyelids. I have known him since I had my '02 Altima which he made eyelids for even.

eBay Motors: Tundra Eyelids 07 08 RS Toyota Grille Headlight (item 260347226000 end time Feb-13-09 22:20:17 PST)

Lights were modded with Halos, 10" LED strips which I have functioning as the turn signals and park lights. and are blacked out. AAC did the mod to the lights..They were a vendor on my last forums with my Magnum.

'07-'08 Toyota Tundra ORACLE Halo Kit

K&N was about $350 from AutoAnything.com. No mods or cuts at all. It just sits over on the side of the engine bay..When the hood is closed, is it pretty much sealed off.
