I am getting ready to order the Truxx lift kit. One quick question for those of you that have this kit or smiliar lift kit....Does the lift kit affect towing? I regulary tow a 4place enclosed snowmachine trailer and a travel trailer. Thanks for any advice.
I've got the Truxxx lift (full kit) and also added Supersprings in the back.
I also have BFG TA/KO 305/65R18 All Terrain tires.
My trailer is on the smaller/lighter side at 21' and 5000 lbs loaded.
If anything, the truck feels better than stock while towing. Most of that can be attributed to the tires and a little to the Supersprings. Truck and trailer feel much more stable heading down the highway and climbing/descending twisty mountain roads. I get 8 to 12 mpg towing depending on terrain.
Stock height with better tires? Dunno, haven't done it. But mine definitely feels better towing now than it did stock.

I have the Toytec lift and tow a 5'er quite a bit. I have no problems towing it and it weighs around 9,000 loaded. I also have the larger tires, check my sig for the size and it still tows it great.
My Tundra is mainly a tow vehicle so I was wondering this myself as that Truxx lift kit looks sweet. Will the firestone airbags still work with that lift?
i have the Truxxx kit and 305/65/18s and don't have any problems with a 19' travel trailer (4,500 - 5,000 pounds). I use a weight distribution system when I tow the trailer. I pull an 18' foot boat with no problems.
I have the Toytec up front and the Firestone air bags in the back. With no air in the back the truck is level. When I put a load on it I just air up the bags to ride level. I have the compressor in mine so its very easy. Just a flip of the switch to air them up.

The leveling kit looks great, not loaded. But when you haul or tow, the rear end sits lower than the front. It also appears to look that way driving down the highway too. Is it just me or is that accurate?

It's just the way the picture came out.
My back end sits higher both loaded and unloaded with my Truxxx kit and SuperSprings. I kept as much of the factory rake as possible, I don't like the draggin' ash look.
Edit to add a picture of a load of firewood, there's around 1800 pounds in the bed and I still could stiffen up the SuperSprings 2 more notches.

HAHA, I agree. Cool, I might end up doing this. Do you recommend to install a leveling kit? I do a little towing here and there, not much. I am really interested in the leveling kit but I'm scared about the diff and alignment...

I don't recommend against it...it's really up to you.
Most of the leveling kits on the market will not put any additional wear on your truck. It will have to be re-aligned, but that's not a problem. And if you have a 4x4, I'd recommend putting a kit on that comes with a diff drop, like the Truxxx or the Low Range Off Road. I've installed both, Truxxx on mine and wannaredtundra's and the LROR on mhollack's, they are both great kits. I lean towards the Truxxx because I like the black powdercoat finish and it's made from steel.
Here's another with 1700 pounds of Bamboo Flooring.

Can you use airbags with supersprings? In other words, when there is no load, the airbag would have ZERO air - relying on the superspring to maintain rake, etc. With a load such as a trailer, the airbags would be used....

I suppose you "could", but I sure as hell wouldn't.
If you want airbags, maintain ride quality, and have lift use something like this.
After all, they've engineered it to do exactly what you are looking to do. Air Lift Company - Products - Lock-N-Lift
I didn't go with airbags cause I tend to abuse my truck's suspension a bit off road...I'd destroy a set of bags without a doubt.
