Hey guys just talked to a buddy of mine who lives in edmonton who just bought a sequioa platnium trim level and he got a pretty good deal so i called his sales agent and their willing to hook me up pretty good excat truck i want the only concern i have is that its in the showroom i just dont like all the people opening and closing the doors all the time should i even care? I like to keep my vechiles in top condition but if the price is right i cant go worng i guess so this will be toyota vechile number 6

Ya, it's gotten harder and harder to buy stuff immediatly south of the border, mainly started when the cdn dollar was worth more than the US dollar, but it's still picking up speed as Canadians realize we still get the shaft.
Even the price on accessories is inflated by almost 50%.
We got our tundra in 2008 and talked the dealer down a few K without much effort, but they had to ship my truck in from somewhere else, took an extra week because no one had my color/package.
Looking back, i'd go down to the US to get it, even if i had to go as far as florida. More variation on package, big price incentive, and it's actually not that hard to import vehicles from the US.

Check with some of the dealers in Edmonton and Calgary area, esp High Prairie I think someone said was good.
Get a quote faxed to you, should be discounted and take it into your local dealer. You need to talk with the sales manager or higher. With that they should match the price and make the deal, if not... walk.
The AB dealers are hungry and more reasonable.

I bought a 09 CrewMax Ltd from Country Hills Toyota in Calgary (same owners own Mayfield in Edmonton). They knocked $2000.00 off Toyota Canada website pricing, I was shown the invoice vs MSRP and there is $4000-4500 markup depending on the Tundra model so almost met me half way as we worked up from invoice, not down from MSRP. Also saved $1500.00 for RedTag days, so used that for free remote starter (aftermarket) and 3M hood, fender and mirror protectant, spray in liner, floor mats and exhaust tip. Also received free oil changes & filter for life...
Ford is discounting $8-10,000 off their Lariat's right now but i still went with the Tundra, our 5th Toyota!!!

Hi got my ordered with all the options in abbreviations from SE region thru my cousin who lives down in the US for $36,000 Cdn in Jan 2008 I ordered it just the way I wanted it in October 2007 had to wait 2 months until the order was put thru and the time it took for Toyota to make one.
