Have you taken it back to the dealer? Or have you tried getting it tuned?

I know a lot of guys on this same post had that same problem before getting the updated reflash. Seemed like most of them ended up satisfied with the update.

Hope you get that fixed - that must be irritating...

Rut, have you considered installing that MAF Calibrator from URD? I've read that this device pairs up well with the supercharger: TRD 5.7L Supercharger - Dyno Test & Tune

the MAF calibrator from URD will do nothing until you get it tuned.

I am considering it and a custom tune, but probably going to hold off until the warranty expires on my truck. Especially since I just had the MAF sensor and fuel pump replaced

Wow ... just spend a good amount of time reading the WHOLE thread, and I'm about to sink $6-8k in her. Is $5000 a good price?

And could we update the first thread with, "TRD fixed Issue - 6APR09 - go and buy it!"

$5,000 is an INCREDIBLE price. If you can get it for that much then get it. Just make sure its a complete kit, you need the charger and the fit kit as well as all the bits and pieces. You can check my site for an install guide that will have a parts listing of all that you should be getting.

I agree. We should update the title to say problem solved or something...

Each truck really needs its own special tune. I have a S/C on my '07 Mustang GT 4.6L, my speedshop installed it and custom tuned it for me. Runs perfect. No lean out or rich conditions. I do have a wideband 02 sensor and guage + boost guage. No S/C for my Tundra (after reading this).

I agree we need or own special tune.It would be better but the TRD can tune is solved for the most part.TRD has really did a good job with this SuperchargerAlmost too good!It will outrun most high end sports cars that cost twice as much!!!!I gave new a mustage GT 6 speed 1 car length in the 1/8 mile and had him by 3 at the end!!Can't ask for much more than that

so is the problem solved? what was the problem and what is the solution?

i bet it was a lean spot in the tune due to the colder/more dense air causing the ecu to retard timing and jumping into limp mode!?
