Default Borla is on the way; PICS to come!

Alright, this was the most difficult mod to do when cost is a real factor. The Weathertech Floorliners, gear shifter, sport pedals, tinted windows, wind deflector visors, and even the wheels and tires. I always knew from the start when I bought the truck that I would buy wheels after finding the ones I truly liked and were not as expensive as the carved alloys. The Borla deal for $833.87 (cheapest I could find) from www.trdsparks.com was a little more difficult, but I pulled the string after talking to my wife. Now I just have to wait 5-7 days to receive it.

I plan on attempting to install it myself with my dad or friend of mine. It is a little more difficult to spend money on a depreciating item when there are other things I or my family could probably benefit more from, but I haven't had a past of spending money on myself so what the heck. This truck has caused me a little bit of a bad habit in the mods, mods, mods, and more mods area.

I did a lot of research on this forum and using other resources to make my decision for the Borla. The 304 stainless, sound and looks did it over the others.

PICS at this link: PICS and Sound of my new Borla Dual......

I just couldn't wait to post this thread because of my excitement and anticipation. PICS will come; I promise...............

Dude, you will love the Borla.

Almost two years on my truck and I still love flooring it to hear it.

Oh and it looks as good as the day I bought it.

Spending the money is not the issue with me. Spending the money for mods that don't make my truck faster and just louder wasn't very practical for me, especially when my exhaust is brand new I like a little bang for my buck.

It seems older vehicles really responded to mods compared to newer vehicles. Is it the design of the new vehicles or the tuning?

Alright, it showed up today. Very quick from www.trdsparks.com for $833.87! Ken was great in responding to my emails very quickly. I plan to put it on tomorrow or Monday when I get a chance. I will post pics as the rain is supposed to stop tonight so I can wash the truck tomorrow morning before putting it on........

I've been trading email with TRDSparks as well trying to decide on the Borla or the TRD. I'll be looking forward to hearing your view on install, sound, look, etc.
