Imagine trying to park that thing. 8ft bed on a crewmax, you might need a runway. I would love a 6.5ft bed on mine though. Actually not that bad of a deal considering the conversion, lift, wheels and tires.

I'd be curious about the driveshaft modification and how they made it work with that truck.

Wondering if this is just for show. GVWR increased? 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton after the mod?

He has a shop that has been doing Dodge MegaCab conversions and just decided to start doing CM Tundra's too. He knows there is more of a demand for a 6.5 bed and is doing one right now. I think he said the conversion was $6000.

It wont fit a normal size garage thats for sure. Its strictly a work truck. All it needs now is dual axle rear end.

Nice for show.. I'd love to drive it one time, but it certainly wouldn't be practical for everyday use. Not my everyday use, anyway...

Did you guys see the Dodge BFT(built for towing) concept truck? Regular cab 10Ft bed on a megacab frame. With the frame these guys in Utah are making you could put a 12FT bed on a regular cab. I thought it looked pretty badass but highly unpractical.

Got a response from the seller regarding the modded Crewmax's GVWR, the seller doesn't believe the GVWR has increased. So if that's the case, this modded Crewmax may only have 500 lbs of payload capacity left with all the added weight from the mod.

I also emailed the company that did the mod just to confirm but I have not gotten a response yet. If the GVWR remained stock, this mod is defintely for show only.
