Default V6 DC Prewired?

I just got an 09 V6 DC Tundra - Tundra Grade, and I'm looking to add the auto dimming rear view mirror and fog lights. I've read that some of the Tundra's without these options are prewired. Anyone know if my particular model is prewired for these?

Thanks!

Edit: Ok, I took the overhead console apart myself and thankfully found the auto dimming mirror wiring waiting for me:

I fished the wired harness through and ordered my auto dimming mirror with compass and homelink from ebay for $172.95! Installation should be a breeze!

Hey

It should be fairly easy to tell if its prewired. Here's the .pdf link to the install destructions, just open up your overhead console and see if you've got the wires.

From my experience, everything is already pre-wired. I have a 2wd model and behind the change holder is a plug for the 4wd harness

Yeah, I just wanted to see if anyone knew without me having to go through the trouble of taking the overhead console apart. I just wanted to know so I can order the mirror and just take the console off once when I install it. Thanks!

I had a 2006 DC that I added a auto-dimming rear view mirror with outside temp and compass. I do not recall it being pre-wired. I had to run the temp sensor wire all the way to the front of the vehicle and I'm pretty sure I had to tap into power but that was a long time ago. If you're going to drop the coin to get the mirror, definitely get one with temp and compass. You'll regret it otherwise.

Hmm, that sounds great, but I don't think the 07+'s have temp in the mirror, it's on the dash with the clock.

Not too much in common between the 1st gen and 2nd gen Tundra except the name. So not sure if I would go there, besides I was read a posting recently about installing the auto dim mirror that's on the '07 + the wiring is in the overhead counsel with the V8 models for sure so even that doesn't help with the V6 model.

Be sure to post back the results. If you have the bench and don't have sonar, you probably won't find many wires up there
