Default had to sell my 2007 Double Cab

Lost my job and had to sell my 07 double cab 5.7L

what a bummer.

I was able to sell it in a week, amazing.

Was not able to get as much interest in my FJ Cruiser, So I ended up keeping that

also sold my 2007 GSXR1000, no more +150mph motorcycle rides for me. Never took it to 180mph.

It will work out fine.

anyone in denver have any job leads, email me at

Sorry to hear about your situation - not that it helps you much by me saying this, but it's not all that much better out here. Oregon's at about 12% unemployment right now! Bottom line is the majority of people are struggling and it's not going to get better any time soon.

At least you were able to get rid of your truck. Out here it's not so easy to sell a truck regardless of make and model. Plus, if you have a 2wd you might as well just kiss any equity you had goodbye unless you own it outright.

Try to look at the bright side of having sold your bike - you might very well be adding a few extra years to your life expectancy

Good luck bud. Things will turn up.

"Healthy unemployment" is typically 5-6%. Boom and then a bust. We're due for a boom soon hopefully

Too bad Clinton put us to extremely low unemployment during his term which is partially why our bust is so poor right now.

Too bad Bush sent all our manufacturing jobs to Asia and sold them all our debt. Now they have us by the 's. If you want to place blame for the economic mess, look to the "right".

Thanks for that simpleton's view of our current economy....I'd suggest you do a little more homework if you want to have an honest discussion of how we got into this mess.

Anyway, to the OP, good luck finding another job soon. Oh yeah, if you apply online I would change your name. "Bung Hole" might turn off a lot of potential employers!

Agreed x 100!

But I want to stay away from personal attacks on fellow forum members if they haven't attacked me. I want to try to convince them why they should change their way of thinking.

The very foundation of our economy is personal property rights. When Carter signed the Community Reinvestment Act in '77, it planted the small cancer that exploded last summer. This isn't the time or place for the whole discussion, but you know in your heart that you don't loan money or property to people who can't pay it back and that's exactly what Carter was responsible for doing and Fannie Mae fueled it. I know someone personally who worked for Carter when he was gov of GA and she says he was a fiscal moron (history proves that). Her office worked tons of overtime cleaning up the messes he made. That is why we MUST carefully choose the next Pres. and not brush aside little things like his or her employment history, voting record, associations with shady characters, or core beliefs. All of this matters! Look at what Carter's poor judgment 30 years ago has done to us! To hell with someone's "coolness" factor... this is our future we're talking about here! Now we have a figurehead who wants the government to run everything, and people are being sucked in because they do not think for themselves! Name me one thing the government has run more efficiently than the private sector can! Military? $500 hammers. Medicare, medicaid, welfare.... all going broke. And now we simply are expected to go along with someone who wants the government to run the auto industry, health care industry..... hell everything?

I'm sorry about the rant and you can complain and have me banned if you want, but it's time for everyone to start calling things like they are. We have got to do what we can at the polls to stop this cycle of idiocy. As it stands now, our beloved 5.7's are going to be a distant memory due to CAFE standards. Those numbers are lofty ideals, but look what they've done to our auto industries. Look at European cars...no not the luxury brands.. the every day drivers- they are stupid little cramped crackerboxes! Why do we want to follow a government that has given them those deathtraps? WE DON'T!!! We must start electing people with some common friggin' sense about how this economy works and what made this nation great, not people who started their political career as Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton wannabes.

As for the OP's situation..... what a great attitude! He's exactly the kind of person that's going to wake up in the middle of the night and go... "I've got it." Then he's going to start working on turning that idea into a business. He's going to work night and day to make that dream a reality. It's probably not going to happen overnight and he might even fail a time or two, but eventually it will happen. He'll work at it because it's what he loves to do and he will be successful.... we'll probably be asking him for a job one of these days.

Nicely put! Too bad the mainstream media can't see past the hype of our new pres. IMO way too many people can't see what's happening to our country just to vote for someone claiming "Change" as the main plan. Pretty scarely I think. Anyways, back on track sorry to hear about your difficult times OP. When things get back on yourside, maybe you can replace that "slow" GSXR1000 with the new hot rod..Aprilia RSV 1000. Recent test say it is hitting 189mph!

Wow, I guess we should all get our information from Faux "News". O'Reilly, Beck and Hannity know their sheep.
Please keep in mind the GOP had complete control of the government for the first 6 of the last 8 years and had filibuster protection the last two (which they exercised more than any time in history). Wonder why they did nothing to correct these problems then???? Tuff pill to swallow, but your team blew it....BIG TIME and now you are pointing the finger everywhere but in the "right" direction.

You are a perfect example of what I'm talking about! Keep on drinking that kool-aid buddy. And in a few years when all this b.s. hits the fan, tell me how this pres is making our country better. $3.4 trillion in the first 100 days! This is more than the entire Iraq war has cost to date.
