Default Another mirror swap question

I have searched and read the threads on this topic and have not found my answers to some questions. I have an 08 power mirror which is not heated. I have the 11 wire connector harness at the mirror (not the 3 wire) and the standard power mirror switch with a 9 wire connector. There is no mirror heat on switch on my console.

So...if I upgrade to the OEM toyota or aftermarket mirrors with power, heated, and turn signal, I am pretty sure that I will get the signals and power. But how is the mirror heat controlled since I do not have a dedicated mirror heat switch?

Also, does anyone have the wiring diagram to the mirror which shows which two wires go to the signaling leds?

if your truck has a defrost button under the radio it will more than likely work fine. I just put limited mirrors on my truck and they indicate great and I did not do any additional wiring, just installed them. I say try it?

There is no specific button just for the heated mirrors, they just come on when you press the defrost button but if you say u have 11 wires your good to go. I was told 8 or more wires any mirror swap will work with of course the addition of a mirror fold button if you wanted that option with the limited mirrors.

You say you don't have the switch under the radio with the little defrost sqwiggle, but you have all the wires at the mirror connector I am betting the plug is dangling behind there, so buy the switch and then find where the fuse goes and add it... all should work.
