I just hit the 5k mark and it is due for oil. I am wavering whether I should rotate the tires as they will be changed for winter in a few month anyways. But I was wondering, what is the 5k service list? I would look in my manual but I've gotten a slow start on my spring cleaning and am still in the middle and i know the manual is in one of the boxes but which one?
So anyone kind enough to enlighten me and what the dealer charged them?
I would suggest that you do. The factory tires are lousy and you will get the best life if you rotate them regularly.

the duellers still look like new minus the nubbies and what I do with the cars is rotate when reinstalling in the spring. Not that I won't, I am still undecided
Thanks. I checked and its oil change and tire rotation. I am sure I don't need brake inspection.
Checked dealer and he has coupons for oil change for 19.95 and rotation for .01 so I'm getting them rotated
Wanted to read it but kept on getting interrupted by people honking at me while I drove. some people have no respect for people trying to learn. so I brought it inside to read where i don't get as much squeeling brakes
Just looking at Toyota's recommended service lists. At 90,000 they say to change out the timing belt. I'm not very mechanically inclined, but I thought the Tundras had timing chains and that chains didn't need to be replaced.

Just be careful with "Dealer Deals"...they often use the wrong oil, and the last time they rotated my tires they over-torqued my lug nuts big time. The correct torque for Alloy wheels is 97 ft lbs. They had torqued mine to around 160 ft lbs.

Honestly dealerships have two things going for them, their proprietary scan tool and consistency (eh maybe just one thng)
I've got 2 techs that used to work at dealerships, they said there's usually one guy that knows his &$@" and the rest that are average techs, they use the lead tech to fix what the other techs can't fix or screw up.
One of my techs is an master tech with an L1, not too many with those credentials, I'd put him up against any tech in my city.
Point just today I had to take a Colorado to a dealership to flash PCM I just installed. They called me and told me that the flashed it but the alternator wouldn't charge and they spent 2 hours and couldn't figure it out. So I took my master tech out there, he isolated the problem within 7 minutes, I went over to parts, bought what I needed and had my guy fix it. Totally nut checked their lead tech and service manager.
Sorry for spelling, typing on iPhone.
Anyways what I was initially trying to get at, look at a national chain for a lifetime rotate and balance (yes $.01 is a great deal) at firestone it's $5 a tires, $10 a tire for rotate and balance and $13 for lifetime rotate and balance (life of the tires) discount and ntb should offer similar packages.

Since I will be running more than 1 set of tires every year, I can rotate while switching. I also have my own balancer, don't we all?, so I am only doing it because why not for 1 cent. Especially since I will be there anyways.
I know what you mean by a mater tech. When I worked for a major computer manufacturer, there was a problem at a new customer site. The bosses sent in all the techs in that area of expertise and still no luck. I had gone to a 1 day class at the manufacturer for a different model so I was sent there as a flown in super tech. Luckily, I was able to solve the problem in an hour.
