I wanted to do this one for a long time. It takes about 30 minutes. The benefits for me is that my wife can no longer complain about her feet being cold when I turn on the AC (I covered up the passenger side feet vent), I no longer hear the fan motor, and it looks cleaner.

I actually use that vent to keep food warm, turn on passenger side on high heat. Not that it really heats the food, just keeps it from having ac chilling it. Some of the redtaurants that I pick up my food from are a 20-30 min drive back to the house.
