Default Ordered 2010 CM 4x4 LTD - few ?s

Just placed an order for a 2010 CM 4x4 LTD a few weeks ago.

It looks like remote lock/unlock and alarm are standard.

What is this Glass breakage sensor? Wouldnt the alarm be activated when the glass was broken anyway?

Also, if the dealer will take a trade-in on the 18" TRD wheels. Is it worth it to go to the Toyota 5 spoke 20" wheels or does the ride offroad/handling suffer? Are there AT tires that can go on that rim while still riding nice?

I am having a line-x bedliner done at Delivery. Would anyone recommend a underbody rust inhibitor spray at dealer cost or?

Thanks much for the help!

Glass breakage sensor is extra. Your alarm will only activate if the doors are opened, unless you add the sensor. Buy it from Sparks after you get the truck and put it in yourself. Unless the dealer will give you a really good deal.

I had the limited 20's, replaced them with aftermarket 20s. In hindsight, I would have got 18's. I like the look of the 20's, and the ride with the Toyo's is great, but even with my lift, they are not ideal for off road. Not enough sidewall. If you have a 6" lift, you could throw 35's on there and it would be ok. Another reason to stick with 18's. The tires are way cheaper for 18" wheels vs 20" wheels....

Skip the undercoating. It's a scam.

Hope that helps.......

Congrats on the new truck, you will love it!

Dealer is doing linex? Prolly overpriced.

Bridgestone dueler a/t revo2 is a great tire.

18" is a waste, can't really tell a diff between 18 and 17 except price, at least 20s will stand out. If you're worried about a tire that'll ride well on city streets then you don't off road enough or severe enough to need the extra sidewall you get with a smaller rim.

Congrats on your new purchase, probably the best automotive decision you will ever make . Welcome to the family ..

If you don't mind me asking; how much will you be paying for the CM LTD?
