sorry but no truck with a spoiler is ok. ever. for once i agree with henryT although i just shivered typing that.

Hey this forum is full of opinions and I wouldn't be a member if I didn't expect to get them even when I disagree with them. The two of you do have 4X4s so my look is definitely different than the two of yours. I do like the looks of your truck and respect your want for a different look with the chrome than what you had before; my truck would look very different if it was a 4X4.

If I can catch a pic of this other truck thought, I will post it. I only see it once in a while though, and it is always on the move.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As for the functionality argument:

What do we say to front leveling kits that don't stand up to off road abuse but are just strictly for use in altering the truck's stance for visual effect. Or 4-6 inch lift kits with nice shiny wheels and all terrains on trucks that never go off road. Or approach-angle-sapping bull bars and grill guards (the real functional ones normally aren't as pretty) with 6 inch 100 watt off road lights that will illuminate for a mile into the desert that the truck will never see but are too bright to be used in most real world traffic situations where it's actually used.

Ooh, my fault. I was thinking with a bullbar, all terrains, TRD Off Road Sticker, and what I thought was a 4X4 emblem on the back that it was a 4X4 (couldn't quite see the emblem close enough). Anyway, it looks nice. So did you get the bullbar and all terrains to actually go off road or just for the looks. I didn't realize that they would sell a TRD Off Road package on a 2WD.

Confused you with this one here, sorry: New Pics. 305's/grill/bullbar Learn something new everday; I just didn't think that anyone buying a truck who plans to go off road would get a 2WD. No offense is meant here, this was just me not knowing. Nice white truck though.........

Too much $$$ considering I would lose out on my Undercover which cost me about $500 or so. If I didn't have a cover yet, I would consider getting a color matched with spoiler. The silver Tundra in my town looks very nice with it......

Who the heck gets a spoiler on a TRUCK? Its not a race car and what possible purpose would that thing have on a big a** truck? Now to each his own but to ME, thats just a waste of money and makes the truck look super cheesy. Everytime i see a spoiler on a truck i laugh.

Spoiler are on every brand of vehicles. Even econo boxes. They are more look than function. Just like leveling kits. and brush guards on city vehicles.
I would no more laugh at a spoiler than what other things I've seen on others vehicles. Not that I've had a spoiler since my Datona Turbo Z in 84

You are right, it is not a race car; it is my road truck that I do race. It would be totally for the look. Some look good; some don't.

I know what you are saying my Marky Mark brother. If I had the $$$, I would. I am not doing it only because I would lose too much $$$ getting rid of my perfectly fine Undercover and buying another cover that would serve the same purpose but the look would cost me another $1200.........

I think your vertical doors make it unique BIG TIME!

IMHO you got the best looking truck on the site, way beyound anythang I could do, but if I hit the powerball I'd send you a Tundra and make it worth your while to to fix up for me, course I'd be way to busy to do any of the work myself so you'd be on your own, heck I might even put a wing on it, with a jet engine to get me to my island home.
