Default PRG/Deaver mini pack - DIY?

Im about to make a slight change to my Tundras suspension set up and will be starting with the rear. Im currently running a LRO 1" block and plan on adding the prg mini pack to help combat the highway bounce I encounter on certain sections of I-5 and 405. Im also going to switch out my current Rancho RS9000s for the Bilstein 5100s that work with up to a 2" rear lift (per looking at and talking to the guys at Toytec, plus Im eventually going to a front coilover setup and will most likely use the adjustable toytec coilovers with the bilsteins). So after that long winded explanation, do you guys with the PRG mini pack installed have any advice on DIY installation?

So nobody with the PRG has anything of value to add?

I put the PRG's on last year. I did one side at a time. The only thing I can think of is that I greased between each of the leaf's pretty good with marine grease. My 05 Tacoma had issues with squeaks after messing the with the leaf springs. Grease worked great, it was all the dealer would do to fix it too.

I like the ride better with the PRG, but it still won't get rid of the bad concrete freeway harmonic bounce completely. My LTX AT2 10 Ply Michelin's didn't help it either.

Good luck, and if you are going to get rid of the Rancho's let me know, I might want to give them a try, if the price is right .

Not really, since the install is pretty straightforward.

Did you already buy your PRG minipak? I have a set that i'm willing to sell. I've been meaning to put up an add in the For Sale section but haven't gotten around to taking a pic of the Minipak and I know how folks love seeing pics. LOL!.

So, you got rid of your bouncing ride? I don't blame you. It gets tiring after awhile experiencing it everyday. Have not done much since my last mod except I took 3 bottom leaves out from the Alcan springs. The rear dropped. The bags have more weight on them now and generate less kick-up. Other than that, the truck is still awesome at 26k something miles.

No, their not new but I hardly doubt that you would notice any difference between mine and a brand new set once mounted on your truck. Now your wallet might notice a HUGE Difference.

I paid $225 shipped on a promo deal. You can have these for $85 plus shipping.

The center pin bolt hex nut is missing in the pic but I have it. I just forgot to screw it on for the pic.

Keep in mind these were mounted on the truck and as such they get dirty like anything would underneath so their not glossy new looking but they work perfectly! Everything is complete. No missing parts!

If these are still available, I want them as long as shipping isn't excessive.
