Issue: Driver side, Rear door "pops" when I open and close the door. It pops in two positions; When I partially open it and when it's almost fully opened.
Playing a gig in downtown Austin, my guitar player opens the door and POP-POP... Clink. A small silver nut fell out of my door. It came from near the base of the door, where the inside meets the "B pillar" (metal framing between front seat and back seat). I can see a bolt sticking out from inside the door cavity, but it has slipped into the hole, making it impossible to replace the nut.
Anyone heard this "popping" before, and would this repair be under under warranty?
Would I have to take it to the dealer where I purchased it from, or can any Toyota dealership handle my warranty work?
Some guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Yeah I encountered this on my drivers side rear door and it was due to the door stopper hinge screws coming loose. check all the door hinges and make sure they are all screwed in nice and tight.

i had this on my drivers door. if i remember correcctly the bolts were in the jamb on the door right by the silver thingy that holds the door open...u can see it popping when u close it/open it. tighten them up and noise goes away. if u go out and look at yours u can see what im talking about...just tighten them and its fixed

Fixed it last night. Fortunately, the bolt migrated back through the hole, so by tightening up it's neighbor, I was able to expose enough threads to grab the nut. Thanks for the pointers yall.
