Default New interior

Hello everyone, got my new Limited leather seats today and they look great. I got them form a company in CA. I am a little aprehensive about putting them in however. I am scared of the airbags deploying, Any advice?? disconnect Battery first??
I have my entire seat set for sale Gray leather - (buckets and rear seats too), (500 clams not a bad deal for perfect shape 08 complete crewmax seat set) my truck is an XSP wich is a decked up SR5. my set is perfect, I just wanted heat and passenger side power. let me know about the safe way to install these please
Thanks!

air bags shouldn't go off. but if you are worried about it disconnect the battery and wait 10 min then start removing the seats.

just disconnect the battery a little while in advance...no issue at all. just unplug and plug in. ur not going to cause them to deploy unless u shorted out the circuit or triggered the sensor...think of the normal day to day driving etc that doesnt trigger it...no big deal.

congrats and that is a great find!!! my Sr5 seats have port installed leather but i would still like to have a power pass seat and heaters...but then again i live in texas so the heaters arent necessary and the passenger has no need to move the seat forward or back...they just sit there so.....but sounds like u had a need and desire and were able to do it for a fraction of what it would cost elsewhere.

I actually got really lucky and paid 500 for the set that came out of a truck with low miles. I have no need to keep the old set and I wont even be swapping the backs out(they look just like mine - condition wise). I guess I was spoiled with my 01 sierra SLT that had auto headlights and both seats were full power. I just could not bring myself to spend what they wanted(48-52K) for a limited and i really like the XSP package but to me there are some very basic things toyota shorted us on. I am in temperate Alabama but get around quite a bit plus my wife freezes below 80*
Thanks for the info on the air bags, It would suck to install the seats and then blow them up.

the auto headlights or lack there of, do bug me. i mean, a cavalier came with auto headlights....so i just leave mine in the on position and let them be on in the daytime and they turn off a min or whatever after i park anyway so its no big deal to me.

compare the leather....the leather on the port installed (what is on Sr5's) is a little thicker and than the limited but i guess it doesnt really matter since its the back u arent swapping out...the back seat is vinyl anyway....
