Check it out:

SEMA 2009: Toyota Tundra Hot Rod kinda cool misses the bullseye — Autoblog

I tend to agree with the commentary that they missed a lot of opportunities - like chopping the top and lowering the truck.

Reminds me of the performance scene in the '70s. Tape stripes and paint schemes.

Let's see a different cam or heads that bump things up to 450 hp and are available from TRD....now you are talking.

I wonder where they got the BHLM.

Notice that BHLM keeps popping up in Toyota's "specials". Maybe it becomes a regular production item in the future on a sport package?

It seems to me that no matter how modern and technologically advanced vehicles become these days, someone always has to try this "Rat Rod" look out on a brand new model. Why?
Personally, I think this theme looks best on pre 1950's cars and trucks. Or Just maybe this a secret plan to keep up the sales of Mooney hub caps to those guys who Hot Rod there PT Cruisers!
