Woooo! Toyota just anounced the availabilty of Tech Stream lite. While not exactly cheap at about $1k a year, it's better than buying the Tech Stream Laptop w/ subscription for $8k. Reflash and reprograming for options is part of the deal.

That's good news for people that just want to alter the seat belt chime, entry/exit lights on time, etc.

Or perhaps a super charger flash for their custom turbo... or some of the built engines we are bound to see eventually....

There's also got to be more to mess with than chimes and interior lights. Using my laptop and VAG software, we can mess with all sorts of things on my wife's VW Toureg V8. Air suspension ride height at various speeds, climate control... long list.
