Default Headers Installer in MD?

OK, well, just call me somebody that knows their own limitations... after 5 straight weeks of rainy Saturdays, it was finally sunny enough outside to work on replacing my headers. I got under the truck to examine what I need to do, looked at my watch, felt my frozen hands by the metal and came to the conclusion that I'm not going to get this done in the time I need to do it. (I think I know my limits and I knew I was pushing it trying to get this done outside of the garage as it is).
So, does anybody know of a good place to get headers installed? I've tried Meineke and a couple of other exhaust/automotive shops that had been recommended, but none do it. If you know of anybody in Maryland near Columbia/Glen Burnie that does good work and is reasonably priced, I'd appreciate a recommendation. Thanks in advance!

In my case, I went to a local 4x4 off road shop. Call around and see who does good 4x4 lifts and performance mods.

Try Maryland Muffler in Crofton. Rte 3 northbound right before RTe 97 , near where 32 and 97 meet.

There used to be a 4x4 shop on Rt 1 right near 175. I would check with them. Also, along the rt 1 corridor a littler further south into Laurel there is an independent muffler shop in the west side of Rt 1, in the northern part of north Laurel. I had them fabricate me a custom exhaust on my F-150 about 10 years ago, that might be a place to consider. Of course, it is nice and warm today... you should give it a shot yourself!

Doug Thorley shorties... plan on getting them installed before winter arrives. I'm going to check out the posted recommendations! Any others would be welcome as well! Thanks!

From what I understand, the shorties are an easier install than the long pipes....... but I think it's still going to be an all-dayer. let me know if they keep the heat shield in, as I'm thinking about the same mod.....

Those of you with DT shorties, what gains are you seeing? I have heard that the DT Long Tubes are the way to go if you want to see real gains that you can really notice.

Where did you buy these shorties and for how much?
