tail light blackout mod

well i went to my local tint shop to see if they could blackout my tail lights and 3rd brake light. they told me they could only do the red portion of the tail lights because there are to many curves. he suggester i go to a body shop and have them done there. well on my way home i went to local auto parts store and saw spray tint by VHT. tinted 3rd brake light as test piece, it came out perfect with 4 coats of tint. cost about $12. will post pics as soon as wind dies down and I can spray tail lights.

Nice!!!! I did mine with automotive clear/basecoat and it looks awesome!!!! How dark is it?

The one I have done so far is dark enough to blend right in to the black paint. unfortunately the wind really picked up this afternoon so I didn't get a chance to spray the tail lights. but as soon as I get them sprayed I will post pics.
