with the 5100's and the spacer you have put a lift mechanism on a lift mechanism, not the best idea from an engineering standpoint. i suggest removing the spacer and see if that corrects the problem. it is an either or problem one on its own works mix and match is just inviting problems.

I put a lift mechanism on a lift mechanism like the way Toytec does. Can't imagine that the 3" of lift the way I achieved it is much different then they way they do. I also don't see the angle of the alignment being any different based on how the lift was achieved - if I am wrong here, please explain why (I'm open minded).

That would be funny to see! Mine is 2.5" from the 5100's, and a 1/2" machined aluminum spacer (made by a machinist friend of mine). The spacer is alot like the Toytec one, but not as pretty (and not $70).

Unrelated question, did you install the 5100s? How hard was it to put them back in with the spacer on top?

A friend of mine and I did the install. It was actually quite easy doing it using the method we did. We unbolted the lower ball joint, loosened the lower control arm bolts (where the alignment adjustments are made), and then the control arms just dropped down and the shocks/springs came right out. With a cpouple people and the right tools (either air or a nice breaker bar), it should only take a couple hours tops.

Thanks, I have a set of 5100s just have not had the time to install them, from what I have read that method seems to be the way to go.

It is the same method I used when I did my 3" spacer lift on my '08 - it is definately the way to go. The only 'hard' part is trying to get the lower ball joint bolts to line back up, but it is not too hard. That part was actually much much easier with the 5100's with a 1/2" spacer vs the straight spacer lift.

What is the difference in wheel well height before and after your lift? If the answer is 4" or less AND you included a differential drop to restore the stock angles, you should be fine. Obviously the noise you are hearing is not good. Compare your CV angles to what you see in my album; if yours are worse that could be where your problem is.

BTW, are you sure you're not hitting the skid plate or the stabilizer bar on the left when you are turning full right?

Front Susp: Stock coilovers, 4" lift (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...6-4-inch-lift/), swapped extra spacers for Bilstein 5100s on lowest setting, wheel well height still 41.5." Rear Susp: ProComp ES3000 #326510 (2.25" taller than stock), 1.25" blocks plus PRG mini-pack (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...and-new-truck/) gives 2.25" total lift, parking brake cable bracket spacers, wheel well height 43." Front diff and rear ds drop; trailer hitch electrical harness tucked up above bumper. After 20K miles swapped 305/65/18 BFG AT for 285/75/18 Toyo AT, still on stock 18x8x60 offset TRD wheels, about 1/8" clearance to sway bar. Like the extra height but miss the width. Next time either 305/70/, 295/70, or 35x12.50/18. Added 5th 285/75/18 Toyo AT as spare. Bed Bounce: Stiffer E-tires are worse than stock P-metric; biggest improvement from PRG mini-pack, slight improvement from shocks. Still a stiff ride but tolerable now. Best things about this truck: 5.7 and transmission, interior size and comfort, very quiet at high speed. Worst things about this truck: bed bounce, no VSC in 4wd, mileage sucks above 70.

I'd suspect tire rub, mine rubbed with no evidence other than the sound. No obvious marks.
Talking about these?

The toytecs don't actually use that as a 1/2" spacer, the oem top mounting plate is almost as thick as the aluminum plate you see on mine. It is that thick for strength and to accommodate the length of the 1.5" studs, not to give lift.

The Toytec 3" kit does come with a 1/2" spacer for the top - I contacted them about it, and that is how I know it costs $70.

I have checked averthing, and it is not tire rub at all. The lift amount I got was right at 3". I'm thinking they did something odd with the alignment, but I'm not sure they will be open to redoing it for free. It only happes at full lock to the right when moving forward - never when backing or with the wheels locked to the left. Also, I do have a diff drop in there. One thing to add is that I hade them align the steering wheel, and it is still a bit off. It is just a tad to the right of straight - I'm not sure if this is because they aligned it wrong or what. I know they should nothave had to adjust the tie rod ends to get the wheel straight since it was that way before we loosened the alignment cams. I'll take it in and see what they'll do for me next week.

Are the front driveshafts equal lenght on 2010? If they are unequal maybe that is why sound only on one side and not both? Tundrunk mentioned CV joint so that is why I am asking about shaft length.

For the alignment of the steering wheel they probably centered it before htey did the alignment. Happened to me as well.

Okay, you are talking about the spacer lift, not the coilovers. My mistake. Are there any changes in suspension or drive train between 2008-2010 models? Was your 08 4wd as well?
