Default Just ordered Nitto Trail Grapplers :)

From Discount Tire here in College Station. They were great to deal with and even worked with me on the price. I got the new Nitto Trail Grapplers in size 285-65-18 going on the stock 18" SR5 alloys. I also have no lift so I hope it fills out the wheel wells a little better than the stock 275s. I have an appointment to be installed tomorrow and cant wait. I cant find many reviews or pictures on vehicles, but they market it to sound like the perfect offroad tire for a daily driver.

Anyone have any exp with this tire yet?

I've got a set. Haven't had them long but so far they seem good. I wouldn't call them quiet. They have a great aggressive look to them and feel good on the street. I had Toyo M/T's before and they are about them same.

I have heard from many that the Nitto's have awesome traction. Just don't last as long as many of the others.

I've never tried them but had Toyo's on my last truck and had over 65k on them when I traded it in.

I run 325.60.18 and the tire is great. It weird cause some people say the tires generates a lot of noise but mine are quite. There is no noticable sound difference over stock. I have only had mine for two weeks and the tire grips really well in mud for a AT tire.

XtremeAction

The original poster is talking about Nitto Trail Grapplers, not the Terra Grapplers.

That's why there may be a difference in noise you are talking about.

I got them and they look great. IMO they are a perfect setup for 0 lift and filling the wells.

First Impressions:
1.They do sing on they highway. I must admit my GY MTRs and Baja MTZs were alot quieter. I expected them to be quieter but hey its a MT
2.The added weight is noticeable. Curious to see what it does to MPG

DT tried to pull a slick one and send me on my way with a stripped stud/nut but they are going to fix it. Overall Im happy. Will get some pics up when I get home.
