    Default kmc rockstar vs monster

    Im trying to decide between the 2 wheels in the title. They will be 20's rapped with 35 inch mud grapplers. I would appreciate any imput and opinions. Maybe some have seen them in person and can argue for one wheel vs the other? Thanks in advance

    I have Monsters on my F350 and Rockstars on my Tundra. I don't have a prefrence either way. My monsters are chrome and rockstars are black.
    The bolts on the monsters turned pink last winter. ( we also live in Colorado) They guy I bought them from also had the discolorong on his Hoss wheels. KMC made it right.

    I hate that everone has these wheels. I wish I got RBP wheels.

    I seen on rimzone.com that the rockstars are comming out in machined face. They are preordering them, for april. I did not see any price, just a picture, they look pretty cool. Go check them out on their site.

    I think that both are VERY common wheels at least here in north Louisiana, meaning I see them everywhere all the time. I definitly like the monsters over the rockstars but if it were me I would try to get something that isn't so common.

    Hey Man;
    Yeah they seem to be pretty common - but that's because they ARE really cool wheels for trucks! They look great, are affordable, and are of good quality. Around here (in Oregon) I see more Rockstars than Monsters - but still neither are super-common.
    When I got mine, I was looking for Rockstars but they were backordered, so I got my second choice, Monsters - but since then the more I see Rockstars, the more I am REALLY REALLY glad I got my Monsters! They just seem to be a better looking wheel, especially when seen in-person.
    If you want to stand out, get 22's!

    Here are some pics of my truck with 22" Monsters and 34" Toyo tires - I really think 35" tires and 22" rims would be a perfect ratio for you!
    Also- the ride is very very close to stock - so dont worry at all about 'ruining your ride' as some people think will happen with bigger wheels - there is still plenty enough sidewall to keep the ride squishy.

    Photos are a mix of "before flares" and "after flares" for your consideration.

    Best of luck!

    Go with the Rockstars. I love those wheels. I plan on buying a pair with 35" Toyo MT. Monster are good to. But I say Rockstars are better looking but others have different opinions.

    Thank you, they are the +35 offset. They stick out just a tad, but dont rub. I bought mine on rimzoneonline.com They will have 18'' and had one of the best prices i could find for wheels and tires.

    I have the Rockstars on my 2006 Tundra and they look great. The only problem with the rockstar wheels are the center cap is plastic and I have had problems with the chrome finish on them.
