Got Exhaust Done On My Tundra!

I just got the mod bug for my 2008 DC 5.7l lol I installed styled OEM Steelies, a K&N 63 series CAI, and I definitely needed an exhaust! So I decided to get a catback bolt on system that dirtydeedsindustries is now making. This is the best sounding Tundra Exhaust System, I'm really happy with it. It literally has no drone on the highway at any speed with the helmholtz resonator. My truck sounds just so smooth now and gives out a niiiiiiiiiice growl. I'd definitely recommend this system especially because it can be installed right at home and no welding required which is awesome for us average joes! lol

Warrior I'll get some tonight, but it will be a bolt on kit and it is a really heavy well built system. It's a catback which will be bolted on to the original flanges that go to the muffler, then it connects to the stock tail pipe and is all bolted into place, really easy and its the perfect exhaust.

DPW I thought so too, but when I cruise anywhere from 45+ Its almost as quiet as the stock muffler, and I could even hear my A/T tires. I'll get some vids going, but my mileage increased and it feels better on the butt-dyno.

I plan on buying this system soon, but want to do a side exit in front of the rear wheel on my rcsb. How long is this unit and can it be shortened and maintain sound and performance?

my system is plenty far forward enough to turn out just before the rear tire. I don't recommend it because it will increase drone.

If that's what you want to do however, you might as well do it right I use mandrel bent tubing and can supply you with a mandrel bend that will fit perfectly.

Looks like you had to cut the factory resonator/tailpipe and weld it to the new piece. No welding?

Geordy's truck was the prototype truck. 2 main goals were accomplished by installing my system on his truck. 1. See if its possible to make a bolt on kit that installs with just simple had tools. And we found that it is. 2. Pull his stock exhaust to make a jig from it to assure that my system is true each and every time I send one out.

I built Geordys system on his truck. Future systems will be built on my jig and boxed up then shipped out to customers.

The flange between the muffler and resonator has an oddbal flare in it. Nobody had the tool to make that flare so we had no other choice but to make the mufflerjoint weld together so that Geordy could drive his truck home since he lives 2hrs away.
