    Default Headlights ON reminder

I'm not sure if I disabled something or hit a button or if the 2012 Tundra does not have this option.....but, if I leave my headlights turned on, I do not get an audible ding that reminds that they're on after turning off the engine and removing the key from the ignition.

I'm still trying to get used to the bells and whistles of my Tundra, so I thought I'd post since I didn't see this mentioned in the manual.

I will certainly forget that the lights are on if I don't enable that feature - if I don't forget, the wife certainly will.

I'll need to find a place for some jumper cables if this is not a feature.

    Thanks!

The lights are on a timer and will automatically turn off.

Agreed. Also if you have factory keyless entry and you hit lock twice, the lights will go out as soon as the second lock is pressed.

Ahh.... you beat me to it!! If I get out the truck and forget to turn them off, I just hit "lock" twice. Also, while we're on the subject, if you leave your parking lights on, they go off when you open the door.

Just don't leave your door open . Or if you leave weight on seat your headlights will stay on forever or dead battery.
