Re: Black 2007 Tundra pictures from the Tampa car show
I like that look of that black Tundra a whole lot!! I can't wait to see one in person!!

I drove an 07 when I went to visit the Toyota rep. at Hillsborough to discuss my buy back. The truck is very impressive looking and the T4Steer option, which is basically a renamed Delphi Quadrasteer, gives the truck an incredibly tight turning radius.
I like the truck. The one I drove was a dark red.
Dude, the '07 Taco is NOT a rebadged Tundra...

Thats what the man said to me, the current front rotors are 13". I think the Toyota's big brake kit requires a minimum 17" wheels even that kit does not have 16" rotors or else I would think they would require even larger wheels.
Ditto.
Wheel size is the bead seat. Allow for the thickness of the wheel (1.5"), and another inch for the caliper, and you have a maximum rotor diameter of 2-3" smaller than the wheel... and even THAT is too close depending on the offset of the wheel.

Since everybody seems to be on the wheel Topic I figured most of you have seen the Big brake kit offered for the new 2007 Tundra at Sema 16 inch drilled Rotors. let's Just Prey Toyota has the braking system right this Time I've never been too Impressive on the Current Tundra braking system esp on the first Gen Tundra which was Week to say the least on poorly designed first Gen Pos calipers used from the older Tacoma to save Cost .
I just checked out the new Tundra at the autoshow. Its even bigger than I thought it was. Overall, I did like it and it will take some time to really like the new styling. I think there were some good improvements over my 02. However the interior wasn't that great...I just don't like those huge control knobs that are similar to the new Tacoma's. I loved the tailgate assist, even my wife was like whoa I was a little sad though....the only thing on the new tundra that had any resemblance to my 02 was the TRD badges!
