A few questions I have...

All those pictures are of the Access Cab, Is that right?

When they say the 5.7 will have over 300hp, how much over?

Well I have to say I very impressive on the New 07 Tundra I already knew what the exterior pictures were going to look like so that wasn't A big deal with me but the interior I haven't seen in person Intill today. The truck feels vastly improved the Interior sort of reminds me on the cluster used on the current Tacoma only bigger a more full sized. The new Tundra interiors are better made from my standpoint and set new standard's on safety not to mention comfort. I am writing this for my Cell Phone web so I should be posting some picture late until today or possibly into sat so much too see I am excited. Gm is also showing it's new Full sized truck as well Not that i like them but it's something worth looking at.

Hmm, maybe the front end will grow on me. Hopefully toyota will offer the body color grill and bumper option- i like the monochromatic look as oppossed to chrome.

Go to www.autodeadline.com to view the pics. It's much faster than Toyota's pressroom.

OMG that thing is UGLY! What's up with the 5 lugs? That's sooooo......... lame. That's gonna suck for people who bought aftermarket wheels and were hoping to switch onto the 07. This truck is not even huge. After all that hype I expected a massive beast. Something like the Dodge mega cab! Looks like Toyota will always be a step behind. The small windows on the back doors are so generic. I feel bad for the passengers who want to look outside. The only thing that looks decent is the interior and having a round gas cover lid to replace it with billet. The body style is nothing special. The rear taillights are generic looking and that dodge front end has got to go! If they wanted it to really look tough they could have added a steel front bumper. At least Dodge has that. That's the one thing that I miss about my 01 acces cab. STEEL BUMPERS! Toyota what did you do? I'm so glad I have my 04. Next up will be a Ford f-150 for me! lol.............
If you haven't seen the pics go to toyota.com and click on all new 2007 tundra. I'm VERY,VERY,VERY dissapointed. Of course this is just my opinion.

DAm, I like it, I never thought I would but it actually looks pretty tough. Im just picturing it with a nice clean 6" lift and some 37" BFG's, possibly a bilett grill. I dunno... Anyone know any of the specs on this bad boy, is it gonna have the same SMC bed as the tacoma, and the specs on the engine. One thing that Toyota needs to do is offer a nav system with this truck.

Anyways, I like it

CHICAGO -- Tired of getting sand kicked in its face by pickups from Ford, General Motors and Dodge, the Toyota Tundra was sent to the gym.

What emerges for the 2007 model year is a bigger, beefier pickup, with styling that takes its cues from the FTX concept truck from 2004.

The 2007 Tundra was unveiled Thursday morning at the Chicago Auto Show.

When it goes on sale about a year from now, here's what buyers will find:

# A bigger truck. The Tundra's wheelbase has been stretched 10 inches to 138.3 inches on the standard cab. The wheelbase on the Double Cab is 150.5 inches. The overall length grows about the same amount, ranging from about 228 to 240 inches.

# Towing capacity rated at more than 10,000 pounds.
# Three trim levels - base, SR5 and Limited - and three cab configurations, including the Double Cab.
# The options list will include a rearview backup camera and Bluetooth connectivity for cellular telephones.

Im kind of mixed right now! I really wanted to see the 4-Door version of the truck in a few differant colors

Im pretty sure I will be getting one I cant wait to see one in person as it always looks better. Here is a little read I found tha will answer a few questions I have seen!

"Here are some interesting specs to consider. Toyota didn't give horsepower or torque numbers for the new 5.7-liter V8, but the engine will use a six-speed automatic and give the Tundra a maximum tow rating of over 10,000 pounds. A 4.7-liter V8 and 4.0-liter V6 will also be available. There will be three different body styles. The four door truck in the pictures(Blue truck) is called a double cab but it will replace the current Tundra access cab in the lineup. An even larger crew cab will be introduced later. There will also be three different bed lengths and three trim levels for a total of 30 different styles. Sales will begin in January of 2007.
