I have a noisy serpine belt, my tundra has 65k miles. Should I use a belt conditioner spray on it?
I replaced the belt in my '03 last year. It was pretty easy and got rid of that squeak. Just need a long bar to pull the tensioner pulley back.
My introduction - I bought a new 2003 access cab SR5 in July 2003 and have enjoyed it since. Now that my kids are a bit bigger and we bought a new 26' RV (Jayco 26BH) we wanted more back seat room and a bit more under the hood and suspension. The 2008 CrewMax 5.7 will fit the bill! I should be taking delivery of a silver Tundra grade with the front bench seat and tow package. The one item we didn't get that we wanted was the tow mirrors, this one has the heated/power mirrors. I'll probably be posted a trade request in the classifieds soon. Very excited about the new truck!
Also looking at adding the reverse tailgate camera soon. That'd be handy for hooking up rather than relying on my wife to guide me

New member here, in search of a Pyrite mica Tundra Crewmax....lifted about four inches with chrome wheels....I'm from Connecticut and envy those who live in the south or west where dealerships lift new trucks. Not alot of nice lifted trucks in new england like you see in TX/AZ/UT/CO.

Hello All! I got a new Tundra 08 last week, beautiful. Slate blue, 2x4, Limited, with the big engine. Picked it up on Wednesday, threw my board in the back and drove up to Tahoe on Friday. I gave my 85 Landcruiser to my Pop, since he wanted to go fishing with it, I'll probably upgrade and keep it forever. I has over 265,000 miles on it, always passes smog, gets me into the desert, snow and camping whenever necessary. So I'm psyched to have the new truck. The RPMs never even crack 2k when i'm cruisin at 75, which is great because i know this engine will last forever. Got the bed matt saturday morning and a new leash set up and frisbee for my dog Saki. She's digging the open air. Tomorrow morning i'm having the ipod adapter installed. I had both ipod and satellite in my other one, but this doesn't do it all through the wheel, so i'll just go for the ipod.
A little sad that i didn't get the 4x4, but never used it on my landcruiser except for the time i had to pull some stuck russians our of the desert.
Just picked my 2007 Double Cab a week ago. Can't wait to start customizing it. Feel free to send me any cool links to DIY Mods.
Future Plans include:
3/1 Leveling Kit
Debadge & Paint to match everything
LED tail lights
Leather Int.
Dubs plus 2
Remote Start
DVD Head Unit
Any Suggestions welcome

I just bought an 08 double cab here in Minnesota and was researching bedliners. I came across this website while looking and decided to join. I had a 2000 Xtra Cab SR5 and loved it. I hope this truck treats as well.

whats up everyone? im Dale, from CT. i've had my tundra for about 8 months now and still love it. just starting to buy some stuff to mod it. looking forward to learningsome new things.
Hey everybody,
I am looking at buying a 2 to 5 year old Tundra. I need a crew max for the family, four wheel drive to drive often in rough back county conditions.
I am not sure what to buy Please help
I want to go into deep back county year round in all nasty conditions WHILE towing or in bed Camper and 2 four wheelers. What model and accessory packages should I get. Should I get a winch and if so which one? I am a conservative person when it comes to buying the Right tool for the right job as in I ALWAYS like to have equipment that is overkill. I believe in buying quality the first time even with the higher price tag. I don't have money to burn, BUT I believe that you pay for what you get. If it is good quality I will afford it. I am not worried about gas mileage, because the alternate uses dictate more performance. SO Please respond. I appreciate all comments.

Just rolled my '09 Tundra DC off the lot Tuesday- had all of 8 miles on it.
I fell in love with the '07 model after filming the production process in Texas. Finally decided to turn my '07 Tacoma TRD (fun fun fun little truck) into a Tundra.
I've learned a lot so far just by browsing around- great site!
