Bought my crew max SR5 in November of 08 I have 4900 miles on it now. I was a die hard chevy man but this is buy far the best truck I have ever owned. Sometimes a man just has to have faith in his wife. (she picked it out and made me try it.)

Hello all I am new to the forum and am a first time Tundra buyer. I just bought a 2007 Tundra, Double cab, TRD, 4X4. I live in Alabama so it is being shipped from California. It is a one-time owner and was repossession so I got a good deal on it. 22,000 bucks out the door. KBB had it listed at 26,500. It has a clean history and checked out on Carfax. Well I have a week before it gets here and I want to start working on it as soon as it arrives. Here are my thoughts. For wheels and tires, which is a must, 18x9 Moto Metal 951 on 305 / 65 / 18 BF Goodrich All Terrain tires. I was thinking about the 3 inch Toytec lift as well. Cold air intake and definitely exhaust will be added. The main thing is with this lift will these tires and wheels fit properly and also look good. Just looking for some opinions and some expertise in the area. Any imput is appreciated.

OK folks, I just joined the TS. I owned Toyota T100's and still have one. I will venture later this year to get a 4x4 Tundra CrewMax Limited or SR5. I'm most interested in 2008-2009 4x4 Tundra problems that owners are experiencing. All information concerning this truck will surely help me a lot. I am also looking at the new Ford F150 Lariat. I need lots of info from Tundra owners to make up my mmind on which truck I should purchase. I do love Toyota but heard sone negatives from some owners out hear. I'll be constantly monitoring the TS site for suggestions.

Hi y'all- new Tundra owner from the great white north, eh. Been wainting to introduce myself until I received my truck- an 08 CM LTD Silver Sky. Sadly it's over a month now, but at least it looks like it finally shipped today.
So far I've decided on the Bilstein 5100s to level the truck (at least for now- it's hard to say no to "buy one get one free"), and the dealer has installed the tow mirrors (with memory working!) and put inthe OEM bedliner. Next up is the drop down backup camera and P3 brake controller (already waiting at home courtesy of ebay). I'm aiming to sell the 20 inch stock wheels to pay for the 17 inch TRD's- I"ve got 33" BFG AT's coming off my FJ that will be perfect.....
I'm not sure if I'll go with the extra leaf to lift the rear or air bags- I don't think I want the air bags when I'm offroading, but they may help when I have my skidoo or bike on the back, or when I'm towing my 28ft toy hauler. Any suggestions welcome...
A big thanks to this forum for all the info!

Thank you to all at the TS Site... I bought a 2008 SR5 Crew Max for work. I travel 100 miles a day selling Construction Equipment and I wanted something other then a Super Duty or a Ram. A few of the contractors I deal with have a Tundra, but I still take a beating at least once a week from someone who asked WHY A TOYOTA... WHY NOT AN AMERICAN TRUCK? So I go into the whole speach about... who is building plants here and who is closing them. Who builds most of their cars here in the US and Canada... Not in Mexico like the Avalanche or Silverado... And once in a while I win them over. Love the truck.

Hello Guys & Gals,
I currently own a 2004 Tundra Limited 4X2 and am trading for a 2008 CM Limited 4X4, Timberland Mica, w/sc & dual exhaust, wireless remote, Factory NAV w/IPOD interface, Bluetooth, Retrax cover, TRD package.
Already this forum (And Mike)has saved me from paying 1500 for a subpar Gold warranty. I have learned more in the past three days reading here than I could have in years of experience. Thanks for the great forum and hopefully some day, I will have something worth offering.

What's going on people! Just bought a '06 Tundra 4.7L v8 4x4, long box, gun metal gray, bare bones for a steal. Looking to project truck her. Any ideas of where to start. She is factory all the way. 35k mile lease trade in. Looks like gramps kept her clean and taken care of! Now she needs to let her hair down

New to the forum, I have a 2004 Double Cab. I love it so far, but I'm looking to make upgrades to the audio system as well as some aesthetic changes. I appreciate all the help I find on here.

New member and new owner . '07 DC SR5 V6. I just picked up this bad boy last Friday for 16k out the door with 18k miles. Clean car fax btw. Few minor scratches and dings but not really noticeable. I didn't waste any time and slapped on this Carriage Works billet grille I bought off ebay for $55 including all weather floor mats! Great steal IMO!
I don't plan on doing anything major to this truck. I've already purchased color-coded door handles, black nerf bars. I plan on slapping on a 2.5" level kit from Top Gunz next month.
