I'm new obviously. Cool forums, btw.

My wife and I just purchased a brand new '08 Tundra. It's a 4x4, double cab, 5.7L w/ tow package (other than that, it's just the base) in Desert Sand.

Got a nice deal. $25k....works for me. Plus I got a decent value on my trade in....$8k on an '04 Scion xB w/ 40k miles. Probably couldn't have sold it for that much private party. Anyway.....my wife and I are happy and we love the truck.

It's a good time to buy one!

Sweetest ride of my life. Just picked it up last Sunday. 34K miles, white, gray leater, V8, power everything - back window, 20" rims.

Pick up an undercover tonneau the day after I bought it on craigslist for $250, new its $600+.

Sick ride. Love it and hope it treats me well.

My name is Richard and I have a 2008 DCLB, it is my work truck, has over 27,000 miles, I have towed over 11,000 pounds for 1,000’s of miles and have had the bed loaded to over 1000 pounds for most of the miles it’s seen. I’m a contractor and work nationally, I’m only home about 6 weeks out of the year. So basically it seems that I live out of the truck. My best experience with the tundra would be split between Pikes Peak and Mount Evans.

Hey everyone, I have a 2000 Limited TRD access cab.
Bought it new in Nov. of '99.

It's just getting ready to turn over 275,000 miles, and I don't have the money to pay anyone else to fix it, so I just wanted to join here in case any peculiar things break and I need a hand fixing them.

So far (besides brakes and rotors, and rotors, and rotors...) along with regular maintenance stuff, I've had to replace the fuel pump, and the HVAC blower (twice).
Not too bad for 275k on any vehicle.
Anyway - going to look around for a while.

Hi everyone.Finely picked up my 09 slate metallic CM limited 4x4 with the 5.7 engine today.Oh boy this six week was one of the longest time in my whole life.

Bought my 08 Silver Sky DC Tundra in February, went to go get an oil change last saturday and saw the truck that I really wanted... Blacked out 09 Black DC Tundra with the TRD Rock Warrior Package. The showroom had drool marks all the way around the truck. From day one that truck was exactly what I wanted, I just settled for what they had at the time. Oh well. I still have a Tundra, that's all I really wanted anyways.

Hello everybody. I work at the toyota engine plant that builds the truck engine's in alabama. Hope everybody is pleased with the 5.7 i know i am. Just bought my first tundra about a week ago and love it.

Great Forum!! I have a blue 2006 Crew Cab Tundra with a TRD SC, intake kit, throttle body spacer, Unichip, Dynomax exhaust system, a levelling kit, and Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires. I added traction control springs to the rear end to make sure the tires stay planted when I step on the gas. I had nothing but Chevys before I bought this truck, and other than some minor service issues with my dealership, I could not be happier. I just happened to stumble on this forum yesterday--wish I'd found it earlier. I look forward to lots of cool info and jaw-jacking (keyboard-jacking?) with you guys!!

Another "ROOKIE" checking in. lol Figured after lurking for a few days id sign up and make a official new member post. I have a Silver Sky Metallic 07 xsp tundra with 20" bbs wheels. This is my first truck and so far its an awesome truck.hope to learn a bit here and share some knowledge as well.

Guessing its my turn to intro, purchased my 08 Tundra in Jan. It's a silver dc with x-sp, it's my first toyota which I have been mulling over buying. I had been looking at tacomas at first, then went to the dealership in Raleigh and fell in love with the tundra I brought home. Now the big adventure begins with mods to be done in the future. So far i've enjoyed the info thats available on this site, I've gained a few ideas for what I want to do to my truck. Eventually I'll seek out the knowledge from the members here as I attempt to add or change bits and pieces as I go along.
